BGMEA hands over insurance cheque to workers' nominees

Bangladesh Garments Exporters and Manufacturers Association (BGMEA), Chittagong unit yesterday handed over the cheques of group insurance to the nominees of the workers and employees of different readymade garments (RMG) in Chittagong who died during their service. Fayez Ahmed, deputy commissioner of Chittagong, distributed the cheques as the chief guest to six nominees Tk 1 lakh each at BGMEA Chittagong office in the port city while BGMEA First Vice-President Nasir Uddin Chowdhury was present.
