Schoolboy throws acid on three
A schoolgirl and two of her relatives suffered injuries as a boy who used stalk her threw acid on them at village Aiton (Badshargaon) in Chunarughat upazila, Habiganj Thursday night.
The victims including the girl's aunt and a cousin were admitted to Habiganj sadar hospital. Their injury, however, was not serious.
The girl's family said Tanvir, son of Ayub Ali of the same village, along with two others made the acid attack as she refused his proposal over developing a love affair.
Tanvir studies in class VIII at Dakshinacharan Pilot High School where the girl is a student of class VII. He used to stalk her on the way to and from the school, alleged the family.
