Man held at airport
Airport armed police arrested a man while trying to steal a passenger's luggage at Shahjalal International Airport yesterday, police said.
They challenged Emdadul Haque Bhuiya, 52, who was trying to leave the airport area with three luggages of passengers of a flight of Emirate Airlines that landed from Dubai around 9:30am.
At a primary interrogation, Emdad admitted his involvement with a luggage theft gang. A case was filed with Airport Police Station in this connection.
