Police recovered the body of a young man from a water reservoir in front of an under-construction market in Wapda area of Pahartali in the port city yesterday. The deceased was Mukit Aktar Abir, 25, son of Shahidul Islam, of Morelganj in Bagerhat. He was an employee of Bangladesh General Insurance Company, Chittagong branch. Quoting family sources, police said Mukit was missing for two days after he went out for his village home. No injury mark was found on his body, police added. The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College morgue for autopsy.
