Motorcycle Stolen

Cop among 7 arrested

Police arrested seven people, including an industrial police constable, and recovered a stolen motorcycle on charge of stealing the motorcycle in the port city yesterday. The arrestees are industrial police constable Shahjalal Ripan, Md Arif, Aftab Iyub, Rakib Uddin, Zahidul Islam, Yasin Arafat, and Mehraz Uddin. The motorcycle was stolen on September 21 from CRB area. Police said they arrested them in a nightlong drive at Halishahar, Pahartali, Khulshi and Kotwali in the port city.
