Channel i celebrates 12th anniversary

Channel i, a satellite television channel, celebrated its 12th anniversary yesterday through various programmes . In the morning, the channel people brought out a colorful rally on Tejgaon Road adjacent to the Channel i office . The celebration kicked off around 11:00pm through releasing multicolored balloon in the presence of its board of directors, officials and staff, other cultural personalities and eminent guests. Later, the flag of Channel i was hoisted while winners and participants of different Channel i TV programmes sang together. To mark the day, the channel will air weeklong programme. The private television channel sailed its journey on October 1, 1999. Media and cultural personalities, celebrities, singers as well as family members of the staff of the TV channel were present at the event..
