Today is the 12th death anniversary of Mirza Samsul Islam, former president of Pabna Press Club. He passed away in a cardiac arrest in 1999. He initiated his journalism career through the Daily Pakistan in 1964 and the Dainik Bangla in 1976. He was elected as the secretary and president of Pabna Press Club at different times. The press club arranged daylong programmes marking his death anniversary.
