Boy drowns in Ctg

A minor boy drowned in a pond at Double Mooring in the port city yesterday. The boy is Abdur Hanif Molla, 12, son of Abdur Barek Molla, a resident of Panwala Para in Double Mooring. Md Ismail, police box constable at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said, around 2:00pm, Hanif went to the pond of a local mosque to take bath where he drowned. On information, a team from Agrabad Fire Station recovered Hanif's body and sent it to CMCH where duty doctors confirmed his death, he added.
