One arrested with drugs in Ctg
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a drug trader and seized drugs worth around Tk 1.41 lakh in two separate drives in the port city on Wednesday.
The arrestee was identified as Md Ramjan Ali, 25, son of late Babul Miah of Laksham in Comilla.
Acting on a tip-off, a Rab-7 team conducted a drive in Chittagong Railway Station area around 11:00pm on Wednesday and nabbed Ali along with 14 kilograms of cannabis, 60 bottles of phensidyl and 20 bottles of ricodex, totally worth around Tk 1.26 lakh, a press release said.
In another drive same night, Rab-7 personnel seized 30 pieces of Yaba tablets worth around Tk 15,000 in an abandoned condition from Dhopa Para area in Chittagong.
