Film show on Kishori Amonkar tomorrow
In observance of the 80th birth anniversary of Bidushi Kishori Amonkar, Assistant High Commission of India is arranging a film evening at Theatre Institute, Chittagong (TIC) tomorrow.
Kishori Amonkar is the noted classical music maestro of the sub-continent and also a great exponent of Jaipur-Atrauli gharana.
The high commission in association with Chittagong Film Centre will screen the film-documentary 'Bhinna Sharaj' (Note Extraordinaire) directed by noted film makers Amol Palekar and Sandhya Gokhale.
