NBR chief gets extension
The government has extended the term of National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Nasiruddin Ahmed for one year.
“His tenure has been extended by another year and he'll retire on October 28, 2012,” NBR Public Relations Officer Sayed MA Mumen told UNB over phone yesterday.
The NBR chief was scheduled to retire on October 29 this year, Mumen said.
Earlier, the government had extended his tenure for two years.
