2 excavators seized for hill cutting
Department of Environment (DoE) seized two excavators on charge of illegal hill cutting from North Nalbila Hill of Maheshkhali upazila in Cox's Bazar yesterday.
A DoE team led by its director (enforcement) seized the excavators during a drive and directed the general secretary of Badarkhali Cooperative, Agriculture and Colony Association along with other officials to be present at the DoE office in Dhaka on October 15 as the association was involved in illegal hill cutting, says a press release.
