Further probe ordered
A Dhaka court yesterday again ordered the Detective Branch (DB) of police to complete a further investigation into the case, filed against a school teacher for violating a student of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, by November 28.
A special tribunal passed the order as DB Inspector Mahbubey Khoda, also the case investigation officer (IO), failed to submit any probe report yesterday.
In yesterday's petition, Mahbubey said he could not record statements of the victim's parents as they are ill. Moreover, he is going to submit a fresh prayer for quizzing the lone accused Porimol Joydhor.
