Minu hurts himslef in road march
BNP's Joint Secretary General Mizanur Rahman Minu accidentally hurt his foot under the party chief's vehicle when it was passing through Rajshahi city during the road march yesterday.
While waiting at Nawdapara intersection to present flowers to BNP Chief Khaleda Zia in her vehicle, Minu's foot accidentally fell under its front wheels, said Shafikul Islam, general secretary of Rajshahi city unit of BNP.
Minu was rushed to Islami Bank Hospital in the area where the little finger of his right foot was found to be fractured, he said.
Contacted over phone, Minu, also the city BNP president, said the injury was 'minor'.
He told The Daily Star that, following treatment at the hospital, he took rest at home and joined back the people's rally to greet Khaleda on her way back to Dhaka.
