Oil seized in Ctg
Bangladesh Coast Guard members seized oil and polyester rope worth about Tk 2.36 lakh from Anwara upazila of Chittagong yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, two patrol teams of coast guard raided Chipatoli Ghat area and recovered 1,285 litres of crude soybean oil, 385 litres of refined palm oil, 720 litres of crude diesel, 90 litres of thinner (curing agent) and 110 metres of polyester rope while trafficking, says a press release.
