Addict youth kills mother
A drug addict youth hacked his mother to death when she refused to give him money at Joysen village of Annadanagar union of Pirgachha upazila on Sunday evening. Police said, Shafiqul Islam, 25, son of late Chorat Ali used to torture his mother Sonamoy Beowa, 60, for realising money. She had already borrowed around Tk 5,000 for her son, they said.
