<i>Keep a diabetes notebook</i>


A notebook of instructions and helpful information will make it easier to stay organised to manage diabetes. The American Diabetes Association offers these suggestions for what to include in the notebook: * A list of your doctor's guidelines, including recommendations for when to call. * Copies of important documents, such as recent record of blood sugar level. * A meal plan that recommended by physician. * Over-the-counter medications that will not interfere with other medicine or affect blood glucose.
