Obituary
Jagannath Dey, former secretary of the government and vice-president of America Bangladesh Friendship Forum, passed away at a city hospital yesterday due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 70, says a press release.
He left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was a principle secretary to the prime minister.
America Bangladesh Friendship Forum President Lt Gen (Retd) M Mahbubur Rahman and founding General Secretary Dr Shamsul Alam condoled his death.
