3 abducted schoolboys rescued in Dhaka
Police rescued three abducted schoolboys from Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka city on Friday.
The rescued are Md Shahjalal and Anik Ahmed, class six students of Noudapara Pilot High School and Pavel, class six student of Masjid Mission Academy in Rajshahi city.
An unidentified person informed Anik's mother over mobile phone that the boys were kept in the railway station, said Shah Mukhdom Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sanaullah.
“Following information from the mother, we conducted drive with her at Kamalapur on Friday and rescued them but none was arrested in this connection,” he said, adding, “We will investigate the matter after interrogating the schoolboys.”
The boys were kept at the police station, the OC said.
The boys, who are friends each other, had been missing from their respective houses since November 28.
