Obituary
Abdur Rashid, a freedom fighter (FF), passed away at his Kushkhali-Chhoygharia village residence in the sadar upazila on Sunday night due to prolonged illness. He was 65.
He left behind his wife, two sons, four daughters, a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
He was laid to rest with full state honour at his family graveyard of the village, family sources said.
Engineer Sheikh Mujibur Rahman MP, sadar upazila parishad chairman Nazrul Islam and others condoled the death of Rashid.
They conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
