PM's last respect to Kabir Chy
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday visited the residence of educationist and National Professor Kabir Chowdhury at city's Naya Paltan to pay her last tribute to him.
The premier stayed for sometime beside the coffin of Prof Kabir Chowdhury and prayed for his eternal peace.
She talked to his wife and other relatives and offered doa seeking salvation of the departed soul.
Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad, PM's Adviser to Defense Affairs Major General (Retd) Tareque Siddiqui, State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Captain (Retd) Tajul Islam and PM's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad were present.
