3 killed in road crashes
Three people were killed and another was injured in road accidents in Naogaon and Madaripur on Thursday.
Our Chapainawabganj correspondent reports: A motorcyclist Dewan Azizul Islam, 58, of Dhamurhat upazila, was killed and another was injured as a Bhutbhuti (three-wheeler) hit their bike on Dhamurhat-Joypurhat road at Jahanpur school para village in the upazila on Thursday afternoon.
Injured Tozammel Haque, 60, of the same area, died at Bogra Shaheed Zia Medical College Hospital.
Our Madaripur correspondent says: A truck hit a motorbike on Dhaka-Barisal Highway in Alamdaster area in Rajoir upazila on Thursday night, killing Jewel Bepari, 30, son of Abdul Majid Bepari, of the upazila on the spot and injuring co- rider Emarat Hossain Matabbor.
