Domestic help dies after 'falling from roof'
A domestic help died after she allegedly fell from the roof of a four-storied building at Tallabagh in city's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar yesterday.
The deceased Rasheda Akhter, 22, hailing from Phulpur under Mymensingh, went to collect clothes left to dry on the roof around 4:30pm, said the officer-in-charge of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station.
The locals rushed her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
Hemayet Uddin, Rasheda's employer, said she stared working there around six years ago.
