Prof Nur Mohammad passes away
Prof Nur Mohammad Miah, founder chairman of the Public Administration Department of Dhaka University (DU), passed away due to old-age complications at his Maghbazar Ishpahani Colony residence in the city yesterday at the age of 90.
Prof Nur Mohammad Miah is survived by his three sons, two daughters, friends, relatives and well-wishers.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Dhaka University Central Mosque. Later, his body was taken to Lohagara in Narail district. He was buried on the Lohagara College campus after second janaza.
Hundreds of people from different strata joined both the janazas.
