Sporadic clashes between police and BNP-Jamaat activists as well as torching vehicles and crude homemade bomb explosions occur in the capital and some other parts of the country yesterday. 1) The BNP-Jamaat activists set fire to a bus in Sylhet. 2) Police charge baton on BNP men at Paltan in the city. 3) Police take away the body of Arifuzzaman who was killed in a bomb explosion at Motijheel in the city. 4) The relatives wail before the body of Arifuzzaman at Dhaka Medical College morgue. 5) Efforts on to douse a burning police vehicle at Shantinagar in the city and 6) A damaged three-wheeler autorickshaw in Barisal.Photo: STAR
