Irregularities at Rupnagar Model School & College
Rupnagar Model School & College is situated at Rupnagar R/A in Mirpur. It is administered by the Ministry of Education. But the quality of education of this college is not up to the mark. The college does not have qualified teachers for each subject. A teacher specialised in a particular subject often teaches another subject.
Moreover, the college is completing its courses at a snail's pace and it seems that the teachers won't be able to complete the syllabus in due time. While other colleges have already completed around 70%-80% of the 1st year syllabus, this particular college has completed only 30%-40% of the same syllabus. Although we have on several occasions informed the principal of the college about the problem, he hasn't taken any steps as yet. If this situation continues, the students will be deprived of proper education and they will not do well in the HSC exams.
So, the authorities should take proper steps to improve the quality of education in the college.
