Inu for resignation of Gowher Rizvi

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haque Inu demanded resignation of the Prime Minister's Adviser Gowher Rizvi saying that he was not made adviser to serve India. Inu was speaking as chief guest at the Sylhet divisional rally of the "Tipaimukh Bandh Protirodh Andolan," a forum of left-leaning political activists, in the city's court point area last night. He said the time is yet to come to discuss merits and demerits of Tipaimukh dam. But the government should make its position clear on the issue. Woman leader Shirin Sultana, Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) presidium member Syed Abu Zafar, district Bar Association President EU Shahidul Islam, Sylhet Press Club President Ahmed Nur, Ganotantri Party's Arosh Ali, JSD's Lokman Ahmed also spoke at the rally. The forum convenor Bedananda Bhhattacharya, also district unit CPB president, chaired it.
