Adolescent girl electrocuted
An adolescent girl was electrocuted at Bandartila in the port city yesterday.
The dead, Moyna, 13, daughter of Abdul Kader of Mymensingh, lived in her sister's house at Altaf Nagar.
She came in contact with a live electric wire when she went to the roof of the semi-pacca house to put out clothes in the sun at 10:00am, said Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police box sources, quoting Moyna's family members.
She was rushed to CMCH where duty doctors declared her dead at 10:30am, they added.
