Obituary
Advocate Helal Uddin Ahmed, an adviser to the chairman of Jatiya Party, passed away at a hospital in the city yesterday morning due to brain hemorrhage at the age of 72.
He left behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his family graveyard at Mitra in Manikganj after second namaz-e-janaza. His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Mohammadpur mosque after Asr prayers, says a press release.
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad condoled his death. Ershad in a message said advocate Helal Uddin was a dedicated activist of the party.
Ershad prayed the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar and Presidium Member Syed Abdul Mannan in separate messages condoled the death.
