Speakers urge govt
The speakers urged the government at a seminar to make the youths free from frustration and take special care of them.
The youths can play vital role to build up a positive image of Bangladesh worldwide, they added.
Department of Anthropology of Jahangir-nagar University organised the daylong seminar titled 'Youth and Development: Bangladesh Context' at the university yesterday in collaboration with Development Forum Hamburg, Germany.
Prof Rasheda Akhtar, teacher of the department and the convener of the seminar, inaugurated the programme through her welcome speech with Anthropology department Chairperson Prof Ainoon Naher in the chair.
Representatives of Development Forum Hamburg, Germany and Prof Md Sajed Ashraf Karim, Social Science faculty dean, were present as special guests.
