Fair of Indian books begins
A seven-day-long book fair featuring rare and old books and journals of Indian publishers began at Theatre Institute, Chittagong in Chittagong city yesterday.
Prothoma, Batighar and Assistant High Commission of India organised the fair.
Chittagong University (CU) Vice-Chancellor Anwarul Azim Arif inaugurated the fair where Prof Abul Mansur, Prof Golam Mostafa and Prof Dr Bhuyan Iqbal of CU, Prothom Alo resident editor Abul Momen and Indian Assistant High Commissioner Somnath Ghosh were present.
