Youth chopped to death
A youth was chopped to death and another sustained injuries at Rasulpur village in Bahubal upazila of Habiganj yesterday.
The deceased is Nurul Islam, 25, of the village.
Police said a gang of miscreants stopped an auto-rickshaw carrying Nurul and others near the village on his way home at about 4:30pm. Later, they attacked with sharp weapon leaving the two critically injured.
Nurul succumbed to his injuries at Bahubal Upazila Health Complex.
