Two hurt in BCL factional feud
Two Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists were injured in a factional clash over a trivial matter at Rajshahi New Government Degree College yesterday.
The injured, Krishna Roy and Shimul, were given first aid at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Police said, on Tuesday, Shimul was assaulted by Krishna and his supporters over Krishna's love affair with a girl.
Following this, the duo along with their supporters gathered on the campus for an arbitration meeting around 12:30pm yesterday, said police.
However, the supporters exchanged brickbats and chased each other during the meeting, hurting the two activists, police added.
