Chemical unit workers for new wage scale
Leaders of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Workers Employees Federation yesterday demanded immediate declaration of wage scale for the workers of government sector industries and urged to give it affect from July 1, 2009.
They placed the demand while addressing a press conference at Chittagong Press Club.
Chittagong Urea Fertiliser Limited (CUFL) CBA President Abdur Rahim, general secretary of the federation Md Shamsuddin Khan, Jatiya Sramik League leader Safor Ali and its member Md Sahjahan were present while president of the federation M Kamal Uddin read out the written statement.
