Parimal Mutsuddi passes away

Parimal Mutsuddi, a leading leader of the Buddhist community, passed away at a health facility in the city due to a massive brain hemorrhage yesterday at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, four sons, a daughter and several grand children. Family sources said he would be cremated at the Kamalapur Buddhist crematorium today in the morning after overnight prayers at the Buddhist temples at Badda and Kamalapur. Mutsuddi had recited from the holy Tripitak at the historic March 7, 1971 public rally of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
