'Adopt house rent policy'
Garment workers yesterday demanded formation of new policies to fix house rent and its implementation immediately.
They placed the demand at a human chain programme organised by Bangladesh Garment Workers Unity Council (BGWUC) in front of the Jatiya Press Club, said a press release.
The workers called for introducing rationing system for them so that they could avail of the essential commodities at cheaper rate.
