3 fishermen rescued from Bay
Coast guards rescued three fishermen from Kutubdia channel of Bay of Bengal Sunday night.
The fishermen were identified as Md Manik Mian, 40, Pradip Das, 35, and Bala Das, 30, all hailed from the port city's Banshkhali upazila, says a press release.
A patrol ship of Bangladesh Coast Guard (East zone), while patrolling at Kutubdia channel, found the trio hovering in the sea.
The coast guards rescued the three, gave them primary aid and handed them over to their relatives.
