Obituary
Abul Hossain, deputy secretary of parliament secretariat, died of cardiac arrest at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in the city on Sunday night at the age of 52. He left behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives to mourn his death. He was buried at his village home in Madaripur. Speaker of the parliament Abdul Hamid, Deputy Speaker Shawkat Ali, Deputy Leader of the house Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, and acting Secretary of parliament secretariat Md Mahfuzur Rahman in separate messages expressed deep shock at his death. In his condolence message, the Speaker said with the death of Abul Hossain the country has lost a skilled and experienced government official.
