Shafiqul Islam
Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, assistant controller, office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports, under the Ministry of Commerce, passed away at a Mumbai Hospital yesterday due to colon cancer at the age of 35. He left behind his parents, brothers, sisters, a host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his death. Shafiqul, son of Golam Mostofa of Matibhanga village of Najirpur in Pirojpur, studied International Trade under Koica scholarship in Korea.
