Obituary
Md Moni-ruzzaman, a language movement hero, passed away at his residence in the town yesterday at the age of 82. He left behind his wife, four sons, five daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death. He was buried at district central graveyard in Khochabari village. The Lalmonirhat district Awami League President and also the State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Motahar Hossain, district council administrator Motiar Rahman, district BNP President Asadul Habib Dulu, Deputy Commissioner Mokhlesar Rahman Sarker, and Superintendent of Police Habibur Rahman expressed deep shock at his death.
