900 yaba tablets seized
Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested an alleged drug peddler with 900 pieces of yaba tablets in his possession from Cox's Bazar Sadar upazila on Tuesday night.
The arrestee is identified as Md Monir Hossain, 45, of Nangalkot in Comilla.
Acting on a tip-off, Rab-7 men conducted a drive at 2 no sea beach area adjacent to Crown Residential Hotel under Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station at around 8:10pm and nabbed Monir.
They seized the tablets worth about Tk 3.60 lakh from his possession, said a press release.
