Hasan leaves for US
Environment and Forests Minister Hasan Mahmud left for the USA on Tuesday night to attend a climate conference at the invitation of US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.
Hilary has taken an initiative titled 'Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollution' involving six countries to cut air pollution across the world. Hasan Mahmud will join the inaugural session of this initiative.
Hilary will formally announce the initiative at a function of the US State Department in Washington today.
