‘Raise awareness about child cancer ’

Staff Correspondent
Marking the International Childhood Cancer Day, Ashic Foundation, an organisation helping children with cancer, yesterday raised awareness and motivation among the children on fighting the disease. The foundation, since May 20, 1994, has been making the lives of young cancer patients easier through its “Shelter”, a 20-bed centre, accommodating the patients as well as their families. It also provides terminal patient care, patient sponsorships and play centres at several hospitals.
