Worker dies in 4-storey fall
A worker was killed after falling from the fourth floor of a 13-storey under-construction building in Khulshi area of the port city Thursday night.
The deceased, Mohammad Sohel, 24, was from Sonagazi in Feni.
Critically injured after fall, Sohel was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared him dead.
Md Mainuddin, contractor of under-construction Khulshi Town Centre, said they have provided the workers with all sorts of safety gears. “But, they wear the gears only when the engineers visit the site”.
