Boy killed in city road crash
A 14-year-old boy was killed in a road accident last night while he was crossing a road near Shantinagar intersection in the city.
Chan Mia, an employee of Ador Shoruchi Hotel and Restaurant, was knocked down by a private car in front of the hotel around 11:30pm.
He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him dead around 12:30am, said Abdul Halim, sub-inspector of Ramna Police station.
