Valuables worth Tk 5 lakh gutted in Ctg
Valuables worth about Tk 5 lakh of two mini trucks were gutted in a fire in Postar Par area of the port city yesterday.
Fire service sources said the fire had originated from an electric short circuit of a mini truck at around 7:55am in front of the Chittagong City Corporation commissioner's office of the area and spread soon to another mini truck which was parked beside.
Two fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the flame after half an hour's effort.
