Rajshahi daily's website hacked
The official website of a Bangla newspaper published in Rajshahi, Daily Sun Shine, was hacked yesterday.
Visitors to the website found it replaced with an Indian flag and a note terming the recent hacking of nearly 20,000 Indian websites by a Bangladesh-based group, Black HAT Hackers, as “stupid”.
“Our entire database was deleted and we have not been able to open the site since Saturday evening,” said the daily's publisher and managing editor, Yunus Ali.
The hackers, using the screen name All India Hackers, asked Bangladeshi hackers to “stop attacking websites of innocent Indian people”. They also challenged the Bangladeshi hackers to open a website and protect it from their attacks.
