Exhibition on trafficked women begins in London Feb 28
An exhibition titled Naseeb: Trafficked will be showcased on Hanbury Street in London's Banglatown district from February 28 to March 25.
It focuses on the many girls and young women from India and Bangladesh who were trafficked and forced into prostitution, and were later rescued and put to shelter homes in India.
Artist and photographer Sonal Kantaria put together the exhibition, including 12 of her Polaroid portraits and a short video work, with support from Autograph ABP and Next Level Projects.
