Rajshahi interns call off strike
Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) interns joined duties yesterday, around 26 hours into their indefinite strike.
The strike was called after relatives of a deceased patient started protesting at RMCH alleging wrong treatment.
One internee, Sajib Uddin Shadheen, said they returned to their duties at 2:00pm after the RMCH authority implemented some of their demands, which includes ensuring their security and limiting attendees of patients to two.
