3 brick kiln staffs fined

A mobile court fined three employees of a brick kiln Tk 10,000 on charge of illegally burning woods at the kiln at Kuliada village in Sadar upazila on Monday. The convicts are Kamal Sheikh, manager of the brickfield and its staffs Almas Hossain and Jamal Sheikh of the village. The court led by Executive Magistrate Mashiur Rahman raided the brick kiln and found huge illegal fuel woods. Later, the magistrate fined the trio Tk 10,000 and in default, they have to suffer 15 days imprisonment each. However, owner of the brick field Julfiquar Ali managed to flee, sensing the presence of the drive.
